Dr Cheng He
Dr Cheng He grew up in Melbourne and is an alumnus of Scotch College and The University of Melbourne Medical School.

Dr He undertook surgical residency at St Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne and completed cardiothoracic surgical training at the Prince Charles Hospital and the Alfred Hospital. After being awarded Fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery (FRACS) from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, Dr He further completed post fellowship training at St Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne.
Dr He’s surgical practice involves all aspects of cardiac and thoracic surgery, with a particular focus on total arterial coronary revascularisation, AF surgery and minimally-invasive lung surgery. Dr He is a staff specialist cardiothoracic surgeon at Gold Coast University Hospital and also holds operating privileges at Gold Coast Private Hospital.
Dr He has published papers in national and international peer-reviewed journals and authored book chapters on cardiac and thoracic surgical techniques. He is actively involved in medical training and is a senior lecturer at Griffith University Medical School and a surgical skills course instructor for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
